In this case, I think it's either all-in or fold, and I can see both to a raise. You don't have odds to set with a short-stack, so you pretty much have to decide if you're a big underdog or a slightly favored coinflip. I tend to go with fold.
Basically, short-stacked, if you want to continue without rebuying, big cards and big pairs have more value, and it's less of a big deal if you happen to guess wrong and are dominated.
99 is a bit borderline, though, unless you have a read that the re-raiser has something like AQ or AK, and I suppose the mini-raise makes it almost ok to call (I don't think you're quite getting odds to set, but it's close).Statistics: Posted by Aisthesis — Wed Mar 21, 2007 12:42 pm
