So anyway, its 4 handed and I raise [Qh] to $15 from the button. Villain reraises to $50 from the BB. I call. Villain has $468, I cover. I'm pretty sure villain thinks I am pretty solid, if anything a bit weak-tight as he has folded me out a number of times.
Pot $100. Flop [5c][8c]
Villain CBs (as he always does) $80. I think, realize he can't have the nut flush draw and is unlikely to have a pair than can call, and shove.
Is this a good defense against his tendencies...or should I wait for a better spot where I have a real draw/made hand? Do you see this as a necessary play to use on occasion against these types? Or is this a standard "move" (on occasion) given the dynamics of the situation?Statistics: Posted by Triple B — Fri May 11, 2007 1:51 pm
