Preflop
Villain in this hand has 202$ and I have him covered. I have few hands him so I have no reads except that he minraised my CB once when i missed. I'm not sure how much he has seen, but most of table has been bullying my CB's a little since i failed to connect with board once. I hold in SB, rest of table folds so I raise it to 8$ in our blind battle. He calls.
Flop
Pot:16$
I decide to lead my standard 12$ in blind battles and he quickly miniraises me. At this point I think that he does not have a great hand, possibly a PP or air. So i decide to call.
Turn
Pot:64$
I decide to CR to get more value if he has nothing or weak PP. So i check, he bets 8$ and i CR to 32$. He was thinking for a while and he folded at end.
Would I have gotten more value If I had raised his flop bet to 60 from his 28$? and then led 60% which is about 80$ on non spade turn? Would c/c be ok if it was a spade turn and i just wanted to draw cheap to FH? Or if he is willing to call 60$ should i just bet turn no matter what and call a push, since 4th spade could kill my river action as well as my hand if he had some Kx with a spade?Statistics: Posted by gsdavid — Wed May 16, 2007 5:14 am
