I prefer 3-betting here (somewhere around $100 probably), since everyone is raising so much junk in LP these days, and you have a real hand. I think he can re-raise a fairly wide range in this situation, but also AA/KK. I think I like 3-betting and folding to a push, which I view as at minimum KK this deep.
If he has less than KK, which I feel is fairly likely, then you know better where you're at on the flop and don't entirely need a hit to take the hand away from JJ/QQ, which I'm guessing most players would probably check-call with rather than getting aggro, hence you at minimum get a free card to hit your hand.
As played, I'd just let it go. He can't particularly like that flop, but it's also going to be very difficult to convince him that you setted or have 53. I don't think this is a very good bluffing spot.Statistics: Posted by Aisthesis — Sat Jun 16, 2007 1:31 am
