Hand 1, Dan called, river was a J, Dan says trip jacks before the guy flips his hand or is told to flip his hand. That was a mistake as he should have gotten to see what the guy has, instead he just mucks. Dan asked if he rivered him and the guy said Dan had him the whole way. if that's the truth, than what could he have had? QJ?
I told Dan that he has to check behind on that turn as he wants to keep the pot small. however, checking behind the turn means he's gonna have to call the river bet almost all if not all the time.
Hand 2, he folded and the guy showed K7. My main question on this was the flop play as I got the impression the guy is gonna bet the turn almost 100% of the time so how are you looking to improve on the turn? should he 3 bet the flop if he chooses to continue or hope to get more info from the guy on the turn. I said I hate the turn lead and would check fold it. I would prefer a turn crai better than the turn lead but a check fold much better.
