Theres really not much difference in what villain did and what youre proposing except it took him one more street to do it.
If villain leads, gets raised and then 3 bets, the pot is bloated and hero is the one faced with another large amount of money to call (or raise).
If villain check raises the flop and then makes a large turn bet...its basically the exact same thing execpt theres one more card on the board. Hero has seen villain show enormous strength either way and both partied have put a similar amount of money in either way.
The only difference I see is that with the bet / 3 bet, villain has to make a huge 3 bet to get mostly all in. I think his stack is too deep for this line and it looks rather strange.Statistics: Posted by iceman5 — Fri Aug 17, 2007 5:02 pm
