Just a quick update I took a shot at $100 again this weekend and blew another buy in. Along the way my set of sevens on the flop lost to a set of aces on the same flop....groan.
And so I'm back at .10/.25 grinding out a healthy BB/100 and working my way back up. Part of my problem was being in a hurry to jump levels before I relearned the game. I have been playing almost exclusively in sit & goes and tournaments - and all for fake money.
I've only started playing for real money the last few weeks after having played for a few years with funny money. I had heard the switch would not be as simple as I thought. I am surprised at how you can't bluff at low limits - there is no such thing as a scare card at .10/.25! Having said that now that I know that if I am patient and multi table I do very well when I get a hand.
Learning how to analyze the stats from Poker Tracker and Gametime+ on the fly has been a bit of a challange too but I know where I have made many BB's due to its use.
Thanks again for the tips!
