A VPIP of 23 is fine for 6 max as long as your aggression factor matches it. Say you had something like 23/3/1 this would be loose-weak and easy to run over. 23/13/3 is pretty standard stats for a 6 max tag.
I can't really comment much more as your post is a bit vague but if you're playing 6 max, anything below roughly 18% is probably too tight. At FR 15-18% is fine.
If I was you I'd be less concerned with VPIP generally and more concerned with your positional play. If you're just starting out at poker/noob then get a good grasp of positional play, raise limpers when you're in the C/O and OTB.
