I have QQ in MP3 with $250. Folded around, and I make it 6 to go. CO with $236 calls. Others fold.
Flop J85r. I bet $12. He calls. Hmmm... could be AJ, and with this action, I feel like my hand is stronger than it looks. Very loose LP raises definitely abound, and by making it 6 rather than 7 or 8, I feel like I look weaker than I am.
Turn pot now $36, and I fire $28 (turn is an offsuit 2 for a complete rainbow). Now he raises $40 to $68.
This actually looks to me like a set line. I call here, and check -fold river when he pushes.
Should I fold the turn to the initial raise? I've repped at minimum AJ here (which I more than likely wouldn't have raised here, but they don't know that).
I ask partially because in a live 2/5, I had KK shoved up my *** not all that long ago with exactly this line on a set.
Best just to fold to the turn raise--at least against a player who hasn't gotten noticeably out of line?Statistics: Posted by Aisthesis — Tue Oct 30, 2007 2:21 am
