Because there is a K out there, it's very unlikely that say he get's frisky with JJ and fires at the turn after you CR'd the flop. He's looking to slow down.
Also, there's a FD out there which can ruin your ability to get paid off.
I like leading the turn something not strong, not weak. Something that might make him say, "Okay I have KQ and I'm just sticking it in, " or he calls and now must call a river bet because of odds, etc.
