having to risk $84 to win $240 means you're getting 3:1. do you think you're the favorite here more often than 1 out of every 3 times? i sincerely doubt it. this is a major -EV call.
hand 2: i don't like this. I think you're flop and turn play are fine, but why are you betting $18 on the river? the CB is fine, and the pot control turn check is fine.
Yes, he might call you without a heart hoping to split the pot, but i think you're better served checking the river to him and calling a small bet if you think you're holding the best hand here. I'd just much rather give my opponent the chance to bluff here. You're holding a very mediocore holding, and i just don't see the point in betting here.
