Hand1:
This guy is running at 30/6 w went to showdown of 15%
Other than that, no reads and he didn't do anything that would catch my attention
$3/$6 No Limit Holdem

Stacks:
UTG ($2815.06)
CO ($795.20)
Hero ($597.00)
SB ($811.60)
BB ($583.20)
Pre-flop: ($9, 5 players) Hero is BTN [5s]
UTG calls $6, 1 fold, Hero raises to $27, SB calls $24, 1 fold, UTG folds
Flop: [4h][9s] ($66, 2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $45, SB calls $45
Turn: ($156, 2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $85, SB raises to $170, Hero ?
Is this good spot to check? Am I turning my hand into bluff by betting the turn here?
Especially since i have position on turn? If you were OOP w 55 would you bet here or check?
Hand2:
$3/$6 No Limit Holdem

UTG ($2347.26)
UTG+1 ($636.20)
Hero ($651.00)
BTN ($723.60)
SB ($577.20)
BB ($470.80)
Pre-flop: ($9, 6 players) Hero is CO [9d]
1 fold, UTG+1 raises to $24, Hero raises to $72, 3 folds, UTG+1 calls $48
This guy has been playing loose so I decided to raise in position. He is not too positionally aware(has similar hand range on all positions) so since I have been passive i decide to 3bet(I dont do it always w 99)
Flop: [4s][5h] ($153, 2 players)
UTG+1 checks, Hero checks
UGH...I decided to check here because I feared that he would CR me here even w overcards since he would figure I could have nothing. I'm not sure that this is the correct mindset for this situation
Turn: ($153, 2 players)
UTG+1 bets $84, Hero calls $84
So he bets weak, maybe some sort of induced bluff so i decide to call
River: ($321, 2 players)
UTG+1 bets $162, Hero ?
This seems like a valuebet, again my turn call is screaming weakness or extreme strength. I think that it would be a great play by villain if he shoved river here or bet something like 250 here knowing that I cant have too good of a hand due to weak turn call(unless Im slow playing AA, kk i doubt i would slowplay 2 streets)Statistics: Posted by gsdavid — Fri Nov 30, 2007 1:41 am
