Hand1:
Villain in this hand is a semi-bad tag. Prone to tilt and misplays but not stupid.
He is running at 22/17/3 over 2k hands.
Stacks:
Hero ($1036.71)
UTG+1 ($609.00)
CO ($633.00)
BTN ($1636.69)
SB ($566.98)
BB ($672.00)
Ok so I've practically just sat down. I didn't start 3betting him yet or do anything that might piss him off or anything that would provoke him. I'm UTG, he is OOP, this means AK, JJ+, maybe sometimes TT but rarely.
Pre-flop: ($9, 6 players) Hero is UTG [Qc]
Hero raises to $21, 4 folds, BB raises to $78, Hero calls $57
Flop: [3s][5h] ($159, 2 players)
BB bets $126, Hero goes all-in $958.71 because he hates money
So what line should hero take? I would hate to see T, K, A,J on turn, almost half of deck.
Due to unfortunate dry flop, he can easily get trappy with KK or AA on turn and check to me. So given the above range, do you like just calling here and folding to a turn or river bet? Pushing obviously suck big time since its WA/WB scenario but seeing turn sucks too. I hate my life now and I can't even imagine what would I do in this spot if i was OOP.
Probably make a standard 2.5x 4bet PF and fold to a push lol :S
I'm still struggling with JJ and QQ in RR pots. It's so easy to either overvalue or underestimate their strength.
Hand2:
Villain is 22/15 tag that seems decent. He likes to bluff but seems to be good at hand reading and knows when its time to bluff. So kinda hard to play without a hand and position.
Stacks:
UTG ($1432.49)
CO ($285.15)
BTN ($1018.99)
Hero ($1176.10)
BB ($527.00)
It is possible to argue to make a bigger 3bet to 3.5x(110-120$) but meh..I hate putting that much money in with any hand preflop.
Pre-flop: ($9, 5 players) Hero is SB [Kc]
1 fold, CO calls $6, BTN raises to $33, Hero raises to $91, 1 fold, CO folds, BTN calls $58
Obviously I fear a lot of hands on this flop. I'm ahead of QQ and AKx and possibly smaller pockets. I really fear that he set mined me at this point and don't feel too good putting my money in since if money goes all in I will either be behind or catching a bluff. QQ will rarely felt here.
Flop: [3h][6s] ($194, 2 players)
Hero bets $145, BTN raises to $340, Hero calls $195. To be honest I have no idea what this raise means. We are deep so he could have started to change his lines. It could be a cheap bluff. I figured if i push now I only get called by strong AKh or sets or AA. I planned on CR turn since he might put me on QQ TT type of hand and try to bluff me off.
Turn: ($874, 2 players)
Hero checks, BTN goes all-in $587.99, [i][color=#777777]Hero ? No Kh, no candy as usual for hero.
