I think you played it OK as long as the LAG is bluffing a decent amount of rivers. He could easily be betting a missed straight or flush draw. I am pretty sure you got alot more out of the villain if he only has a naked 10 or Jack than you would have if you raised at any point. And since villain is capable of 3-barreling, but probably also able to lay down worse hands if raised, I like the river call.
BTW, getting into this position against aggressive players by limping here isn't so bad IMO. giving people an opportunity to make mistakes sounds good. I really don't like a raise preflop here because of the solid, Tagish play that you described and your raise could get easily 3-bet I imagine preflop or called by hands that are better than yours.Statistics: Posted by Danhdan — Tue Jan 22, 2008 1:06 am
