Hand 1
1/2 NL 6 max with efective stacks around $200. Table is pretty loose. I am in the SB with AJs. UTG, CO, Button all limp to me. I pump it all the way up to $15. Pretty standard for me, as I will take down the $9 already in the pot a lot of the time. The button donk calls. He is running about 35/18 and slightly a maniac.
Flop comes . Perfect flop there, as there are no draw except for gutshots. I lead out for about 2/3 pot continuation bet. He min-raises.
What do you do here? 3-bet? Just call? Seems like a spot where I am either way ahead or way behind, right?
Hand 2
1/2 NL 6 max. I raise on the button. Only the BB calls, who has $150 in his stack. Not much of read on him. he had stats of around 33/10, but that was on only 30 hands..
Flop is . He checks, I c-bet $12 into the $15 pot. He calls.
Turn is the . He checks, and I check behind (Do you bet here????)
River is . He immediately bets the pot ($39). He has $100 left.
I see this happen so often. When you check behind on the turn, donks will lead out on the river 90% of the time. Do I take him to value town and get something like a Queen to call? Or do I just call this?Statistics: Posted by LuparFiend — Fri Feb 08, 2008 1:27 pm
