I pushed for $205 more. SB folded and BB actually counted out $205 and put it right along the bet line on the table. He almost called and thought for about 5 minutes before folding. He asked me how long I had been in town. I don't know how much bearing that had on his decision or if he was just being drunk and crazy. He was also trying to remember how the hand started (i.e. preflop action). I tried to do whatever possible to get him to call, but I really don't think he would have called ANY raise there.
Based on what I had seen and saw after, I think I should have just called. Whether SB calls or not, the maniac is likely bluffing, a lot, on any river card and may even make a second best flush. I pushed out of fear of a set, which is RETARDED, but all that I could think of was the times that I lost a nut flush to a rivered full house, and if you had seen my last two days of bad beats in Vegas, you might do the same .
Still a nice pot though and glad that I won it. It put me up for the trip. More hands to follow.
