I don't think waiting half an hour on a table will get you any sort of bonus if everyone you took notes on is gone ten minutes after you sit down. I have always found the greatest advantage with the note taking to be when I am facing an opponent for the second, third or fourth time at a table or I joined a player who is on my buddy list.
I don't call an all in preflop w/ QQ. I gave it up after sucking out AA twice...figured I was due for a big run of pain. I don't like the AK against two opponents either...one could have you significantly beaten with your drawing hand, and I am almost sure one has you beaten already, if only by a small percentage.
I understand why people would be willing to call you with lesser holdings when you play with a short stack...playing the NL 25 PP tables, you get to see alot of people push in their tiny stacks w/ Queen or Jack high. Ain't it great?Statistics: Posted by Danhdan — Thu Jan 06, 2005 9:00 am
