Don't get me wrong here. I didn't mean to imply that he made the wrong move or even a move I wouldn't have done myself. I just wanted to whine about getting my money into the middle with the best hand and getting sucked out on at the river. I mean when Pokerstars does the flop, turn, and river when it's 2 people allin preflop, they do it slow just like on tv (at least on my computer it is) so as to get you all excited or to drag your pain out, when the first 4 cards came and I was still ahead I started to get excited only to have it burst when the river came.
Your point about calling his raise and then getting him to fold after the flop is a good one. My only problem with it is that with TT, there are 16 cards that can flop to really spoil your day and make you have to think about being the one to fold. Because of that isn't it wiser to get it allin preflop like I did? Or is my S&G thinking here off track somehow?
I really need to learn this kind of stuff if I am ever going to get to the consistently winning level that I would like to be at.Statistics: Posted by SebQtaneus — Sat Feb 25, 2006 5:41 pm
