It was a cold January day... 25 gunslingers showed up in Dodge to see who was the best. There was the deadly KennyG who was fast as greased lightning, who drew his AK sixshooter with no fear. He could even play with a soiled dove sittin in his lap.
Riding up from the SouthWest was well known Jessie James of poker, they called him Norton, with his 2 pearl handled pistols that had AA engraved on the handles.
Then there was the silent stranger that noone knew and who came out of nowhere, quickdraw specialist who always had the sun behind him before he went all in with his Colt 45 suited, outlaw turned gunslinger/poker player. They called him ... Chet.
Outta the Pecos River region came the deadly seasoned gunslinger...they called him the Cowboy...and he looked the part...rumors had it he'd taken out Wesley Hardin w/ his pair of 2's on the button. Never under estimate anyone from the Lone Star state. Especially when they reraise you with a pair of Kowboys.
Riding in from across the ocean was a slick Londoner...he never lost heads up in his life, unless he'd been drinking too much brandy or watching the saloon girls and got impatient. A force to be reckoned with.
Coming from Denton, was Doc John Holiday, whom all feared...he had on his arm Big Nose Kate, a lady of the evening. Some two handed cross drawing, flush hittin hombre by the name of Briancheck would be there, duking it out. And the deadly Oringo Kid could draw to an inside straight and hit it every time.
Another famous gun from parts unknown, could bluff you right outta drawing,,, they called him...JohnnyReb. Then there was a gunslinger so cool, he had ICE running thru his veins...always had a bounty on his head, but still cooool in the face of danger.
To round out this fearsome 10 was...Always Faithful...least that's what they called him in Latin...never anything bad to his face...He was a thorn in the side to the Prince of Pistols, WildBillHickok, lol, and ole WildBill gotten taken out by this reraisin gutsy USMC sniper.
Then there was the dirtiest, slickest gunslinger of em all. He was called Adam. No one knew why they called him that...perhaps it was because he was the first...to go out....Rumors had it, he laid down on purpose, just to be a good sport.
Another deadly 15 showed up, anyone of which could have taken anyone down on a given day.
These are the brave...the few...those willing and able to put it all on the line...in the first shootout of BTP.Statistics: Posted by WildBillHickok — Sun Jan 16, 2005 9:48 pm
