Well I've already jumped head first into posting on lots of other threads, however i thought i might formally introduce myself here. My name is Will and I live in Brisbane, Australia. I'm 19 (as of today ) and I've been playing poker for a couple of years believe it or not. I started learning as probably alot of people do while watching WPT on tv, from there the game fascinated me, I started playing live against Roy when i was still in year 11 at school in $10 cash games. Since then i feel like my games improved, i've played a bit online (never really got off the ground, although i feel like if i started with maybe 100-200 there, i would) and i play live every now and then at my local friday night MTT and cash games.
Last July i went with Roy and a couple of other friends to the Crown in Melbourne and we had a good time there for 4 days, it was my first time playing casino NL and i can proudly say i came up trumps. I only had a bankroll of about $400 and i played the 1/2 60nl 9max and i finished up something ridiculous like 1500.
At the moment i'm doing an IT course at Queensland University of Technology and i'm honestly hating it. The stuff they are teaching me, i feel has no real world value and is mind bogglingly tedious. So right now i'm going to focus on poker and try and close up any and all leaks in my game, and take it on seriously.
