In February 2004 I saw my first episode of the wpt on the travel channel. I went to my computer and signed and signed up at play for fun poker. I played the nightly multi table tourney and many sng's. It was impossible to play nl ring games on play money sites every pot is 5 players all in.
I first started playing with real money in Aug 2004. I started playing nl sngs at party; I played a couple of limit ring games but had wide swings in bankroll.
In Sept I moved to PS playing some sngs and the 10:30pm (est) low limit tourneys. I also fooled around with intertops sng.
In Nov branched out to freerolls at poker champs and sngs at ultimate bet. bought play poker like the pros' and winners guide to holdem
In December I started playing nlhe and plhe ring games at royal vegas I then found that I could make some money at ring games.
In January I decided to go entirely with limit ring games blew through $100 in no time. put $50 in PS and $50 in Royal Vegas started concentrating on NLhe ring games have not had to deposit since then.
In February I found freechipset.com. I got 3 300 piece sets for playing Empire , Bodog, and Fast Poker. I guess this was my first horring experience. Read SSHE.( I know i play NL but was able to adapt many concepts form it.) Purchased poker tracker in the beginning of march. started importing hand histories and found that I was being auto rated as a mini fish (using excisions NLHE auto rate rules).. I then started trying to play so I would be rated Tight Aggressive Aggressive. I lost like $200+ and was down 18bb/hr. I played this way for about a week before I realized hey I have to play my game and quit worrying about what I am rated. I have been winning ever since my rating is now Tight Passive Aggressive. With his new rules that get rid of pre flop raise rating I am semi loose aggressive.
I have been lurking here ever since getyting PT( I thought I signed up before May 1st)

I am strictly a no limit player right now ar .25/.5, .5/1 and a little 1/2 I slip in a couple of tourneys now and then.
