Ok so I am RyanLM

Alot of you probably already know me from UPF, but for those of you who do not:

I am a 27y/o chartered accountant living in northern canada. I have been playing poker seriously for about 2+ years and I would say I am proficient at the game. I have absolutely no aspirations at making my living playing, but ironically I tend to make my living WHILE playing.

I primarily play SNGs MTTs and limit ring. But when the mood strikes I will dabble in PLO (thanks monk) and much less frequently in NLHE.

I think about poker alot, probably as much or more than I play, and am currently very interested in poker theory. Much of my play lately has been in an attempt to obtain resuls about changing different "rules of play" and how they effect overall results.

The funny thing about poker for me right now, is that the more I think and learn about the game, the less I feel I know. A year ago I would have said I new 80% of what was out there. Now I have a hard time convincing myself that I have ever truely "played" the game.

I hope to bring some relevant comments to the forum, but I enjoy having fun with posts and I do have somewhat of a strange sense of humour. If I say something that offends anyone be certain that it was all in good fun from my end.

Ryan welcome. The old saying " The more I know, the more I know I dont know," really does apply to poker. When I first started playing I thought I was such a good player, looking back all I can do is laugh at how little I really understood.
