Bad luck on my part, or did I misplay the hand?

No specific reads on the BB...

The more I look at this hand, I think I could have gotten away from it earlier.

Hell, I don't know. Villians timidness confused me. Wtih villiam not 3 beting on the flop or checkraise the turn...I thought I still had the best hand.

Online there is nothing you can do here.
In a live game there exists a small population of 90-year old men that would NEVER cap in the BB without KK or AA and you could make a case to lay it down preflop or on the flop. I only mention this for amusement value. I have managed to do it once in the CO after UTG raised while his Parkinson's hands trembled and UTG+1 three bet after having a visible heart attack looking at his cards.
AA vs KK. Unfortunately a Q flopped so I was pissed as hell.

IMVHO the BB is a nit for not CR'ing you on the turn. As for your hand, I play it the same.

BB sucks balls. Standard play. No sign that you were beaten on any street.
