I'm playing a full ring 3/6 game at Bodog. I'm also interested if and why anyone plays it differently at any point in the hand. Five limpers and I complete in the SB w/
. I've just started so no reads on anyone.
Flop:
($21)
I lead, UTG calls, MP raises, BTN calls 2 bets, I call and UTG calls.
Turn:
I lead, UTG calls, MP raises, BTN calls, I raise, UTG calls, MP caps, BTN folds, call, call.
River:
I lead, call, raise, I 3 bet, call, cap, call, call.
Okay, so that was the hand, but I have my doubts about how well I played it. If this will cloud your judgment then post on the HH and then read this stuff. The preflop call is near automatic, I think. I just called the raise on the flop so as to avoid putting more money in prior to seeing a non-heart turn. Turn card was safe so I lead out. Now when MP raises again, I'm still not sure I'm beat as he may just have an AK or AQ or something like that. I don't fear AA or 66, as 66 is highly unlikely and I would have expected a raise in MP (given the UTG limp) preflop. Thus I 3 bet. When he caps again, I'm starting to worry about A6 (suited of course). I decide I shouldn't fear monsters under the bed as trip 6's or just a big A are possible (again, no reads on anyone but the general calibre of player at Bodog is horrendous). I lead out the river, MP raises again, but now the Q is out which hits him if he has AQ, so I 3 bet again. I have changed my mind on how I should have been thinking in this hand, but I'll wait to reveal that until people can post some comments. Then I can just quote and say yup.
