I'm gonna guess KK. There are no draws on the flop that hit on the river, so it looks like you are calling with a strong hand that you're hoping isn't beat.

Ah, that changes everything. I couldn't understand why you were being so passive :)

I'm gonna say QQ or JJ.

You KK.
Other guy AQ or KQ
If you're gonna play trash, expect it to get taken out.

(I hate those people who quote themselves, but that's one of my original lines).

I'm gonna guess AK. There's other hands that you could play the same way (i.e. AQ, big pairs), but in a heads-up confronation against one player, I think AK would certainly be reasonable here. The flop isn't great for you, but against one player who might've been on a steal raise, you could easily be ahead. The turn is, I think, still worth betting for the same reasons...you've now picked up a gutshot to go with overcards; although an A or K would've obviously been a better card, you now have more outs, and most players at these tables are certainly loose enough to have called you on the flop with such spectacular holdings as KT, A9, even Ax for a bad ace-high is possible - so you still could be ahead.

I'm not really sure if you'd play AK this aggressively, but heads-up against a potential steal, I would...is that bad? For his hand, I'll guess a low PP.

This hand I had the powerful 104o 8-) As I have said elsewhere I will defend my Big Blind heads up with a WIDE rainge of holdings, particularly when the raise is coming from the Button. This was fairly early in the session and I had about 60 hands on this guy with him a VIP% of near 40 so he didn't have to have much of a hand to get involved particularly from the button and if he had paid any attention at all to me (which at this limit might be asking a litle much) I had played maybe one hand the entire time. Another reason was the SB is a pretty solid player and we have played many hundreds of hands together and I am sure will play many more of which he may forget but I wanted to send a message early on to the late position guys not to mess with my blind as I may play with anything.

Do I recommend three betting preflop with 104o everytime, certainly not and alot of times I would probably just fold this even with the raise coming from a loose button but hell if you are going to play it might as well three bet it  The truth is that most of the time you are both going to miss the flop and your preflop strength will be sufficient to take the pot on the flop with nothing. Well this time I got called which wasn't such of a good thing but I did flop bottom pair so I continue to show strength on the turn hoping he was just fishing and if he called I would check the river and hope not to have to call a bet. Well he called again on the turn so I was pretty certain that he had some type of pair and was through unless I improved which I did with the 10 on the river for two pair.

Play from the blinds is very important and HEADS UP I am just not going to let stealers run over me. Sometimes they have a hand but most of the time they have shit so I get in there and mix it up. So don't be as loose as me is probably my advice if you are just getting your feet wet but as time goes by start to open up a little more from the blinds particularly when heads up and even more so if you are playing in a B&M place where you are likely going to be with the same folks for a while.

He had 77 for a mini mouse breaker

I also will defend my blind like you did. Although I dont think I would have with 10, 4 o

But if its the second time he has tried to steal and I win a hand like this, I type in the chat box "dont f with my blinds"

Usually gets the point across. And its fun too.
