This guy was pretty damn tight, and i knew that he wasnt three betting me with any A that I could beat- AJs about the onlyhand i beat here that was possible, but i was alot more inclined to think AK chop, AQ lose or QQ lose. And so it was. Whee.

Bah, you mizor! Im glad your one post a year in the limit forum is to remind me that if me and an unusually perspecaious droplet of ballsweat from MVPs one testicle were to get into an HU match, the ball sweat droplet would be approximately a 6:5 favorite.

Anyways i agree with you in alot of circumstances, and im still guilty of notgettin value, especially at the river where my PFA falls down below 2.0 (except on B2B for some strange reason al my PFA numbers seem ridiculously huge). But here, think of it. Mizor is very tight, like a 25-28% VPER in 6 handed games. He three ets my UTG raise from the SB. His range of hands is 88-AA, AK, AQ,and MAYBE AJs but i doube he even threebets me with that. The flop comes down AAQ I fire he calls, turn 8 he CR'es me. Hes not going for the infamous free showdown, because he's OOP--So basically, either he can beat an A (QQ or 88) or hes got an ace himself. Well, if hes got an ace, its either an AK or an AQ, neither of which i beat. He could possibly have AJs like i said, although thats not that likely- And even if it was just as likely as other hands, That still only gives me a 20% chance of winning that pot with his range of hands.

In this hand the guy was not very mizorly either, and since he didnt cap preflop, i am not putting him on QQ, KK or AA here, although granted, there are those mizors that flat call a threebet with those hands to disguise thier strength. He CRes me on the turn on a board of Q345 when the spade draw gets there on the turn. His range of hands is like, AKspades, AQ, KQ, JQ, even TQs, and POSSIBLY 55. I didnt think he had An overpair because he didnt cap it PF, so i figured i could safely put in the threebet with TPTK, because im ahead most of the time.
