Middle limit hold'em is not a good book IMO, full of terrible advice in alot of sections and the good stuff is painfully obvious. The Hand quizes might have been useful if they didn't plop the answers right beside it too.

Anyway this hand, while I don't play this high online I think that your line is fine, their are only really 2 legitimate hands that beat you 88 and KK. I am more than willing to put in 3 bets on the river here, as AK, AA and maybe even something like QQ play this hand in a similar fashion when someone is steaming a bit. If you were beat here it is just a cold deck and I wouldn't alter your play one bit.
