No real individual reads, the table has been passive with little raising. I just couldn't find a spot where I felt comfortable to raise. I could say that I played it passilvely to just keep everyone in but the truth is I seeing str8's all over the place.

3 bet the flop you're last to act and if the BB has the str8 he'll probably cap it otherwise he might be fearing the same thing you are. You really only need to fear 2 hands here, 78, or KQ, there's a lot of possibe hands that could be betting here. Unfortunately we have no idea where we are at. Even up against a straight we still have some outs where we can fill up by the river.

I think we need to make it expensive for anyone drawing like Ant said....although I generally like to get aggressive on the cheap bets but I'm still 3 betting the flop, if no one caps I'm raising the turn also.

Keep in mind though you're talking to a guy who's lost with with 2 sets of kings the last 2 times I got dealt them....so it's possible I suck at playing 3 of a kind.

What does it mean to 3 bet? These hand summaries are still a bit foreign to me.

Just out of curiosity, should we completely throw out the possibility that BB has a flopped a set of Jacks??

I would raise on the flop, and then, if I am re-raised, consider whether they are on the draw and continue to be aggressive, or I would slip into check/call type mode if I think it is more likely that they might have hit somethng and try to keep the pot small. Not sure if I could fold a set without a strong read indicating they had made a straight or flush, not quite that strong enough to make the "big laydown" yet.
