Assume no reads really, i just sat doown here and/or i havent been paying attention to this mizor because ive been multitabling...

check turn, call river... i want to show this down. a bet here will likely cause hands you beat (e.g., small PPs) to fold while letting an ace push you off your hand (you still have outs). furthermore, you leave yourself open to having a play put on you if you bet, and they CR repping the A (while holding who-knows-what... probably a PP or SC). with this line you get to show down your hand while putting this minimum out of money in the pot when you're behind and (usually) extracting the maximum if you're ahead (assuming they bet out on the river with a wide range).

for metagame purposes, though, going to war on the turn might have its place. reads would help.

exactly. i misplayed this hand, and i bet. If he raised, hell i dunno what i wouldve done, more than likely donked off a call. He folded, and i potentially missed an induced bluff on the river when i checked- its not like i have to proect my hand because theres nothing thats going to beat me except the hand that got there already, so protection isnt a huge deal. by betting, i lose the max when im no good, and i gain the least when i am. What was in my head when i bet? 'Gee, if i represent the ace, like a big ace, maybe he'll muck a smaller ace!!!' Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight.
