Tables on Tain (at least these stakes) tend to be rather passive/weak.


1. I am dealt [Ks] in UTG+1 and raise to $4. Button and BB call.

2. Pot $13, flop comes [Qs][Th]. BB leads for $8. BB has $35 behind and button has $110 and I cover. What's my move?

*Note: I have taken down probably 80%+ of the pots I've played with CBs. I almost never see anyone lead out of nowhere like this.

well depends on how much of the fish BB is..most of the time i would reraise to 24 or 35(to show BB im playign for his tack when its HU, but here i would reraise to 20$ to see what OTB does
its one of those sitations where u are behind almost any hand unless u are playing fish that play k6 and those type of low kicker hands to a raise
i honestly doubt that BB has a set(or two pair) and is competent enough to induce a raise from you..i play on different site but in my experience its mostly a weak K or a draw or AQ trying to not let u steal this time..since u cb a lot, logical thing(by BB) would be to CR you since u would bet almost anything

Id reraise the flop to 20-25 and see what happens with the Button. if he folds, BB will be committed anyway and the hand will play itself. If Button calls id reevaluate.

Personally i think thats a bad flop for AK. i think you will see 2 pair a fair amount of the time, might be a bit weak but i wouldnt want to commit too many more chips. Id try to get to the cheapest possible showdown.

You said they normally fold to your CB for him to be leading into you he must have something he likes
