by super lag i mean he's in there raising or betting pot about every hand he plays. he's 22/17 with a 4 aggression factor. he's -22PTBB over 5k hands and i swear he has a grudge against me. lately he has also been hit by the deck against me.

Dealt [Qh] in the SB. He raises $40 from the button. I opt to call in the sb, with a $1700 stack which he covers. I will reraise often here, but with our stack sizes chose to see a flop. BB also calls the raise.

check, check, he bets $111 which I call.

TURN [5c][7c] $359

i check. he bets $333, i raise to $900. i have $745 left which i will most likely call if he pushes.

I'm curious that on a board where you have a possibility of a big reverse IO situation you decide to play for the guy's stack OOP. Why do you feel this is a better spot than waiting for another hand? It's not like you won't get action if he's the kind of player you describe.

If the flush were 'off the table' you would be a big favorite against anything but AA, KK,QQ, sets and 2p. Is there a possibility that what you read as 'weakness' in his betting pattern might be a reluctance to push 2p or more because of the flush? It's an interesting play (you are betting the flush isn't a factor in his hand) but I think you might have waited for a better spot. In your defense it certainly doesn't seem to be the 'way' to play a made flush if it's less than the nuts. Of course if he has a flush, he may just decide you're holding all 'red' and play a small flush like it's the nuts. Then his betting makes more sense.

Last question: did BB fold to the $111 bet?

I was talking to Kenny about this on AIM. I said I would lead the flop and he said the guy could raise that flop as a total bluff. At that point I told him to just fold AQ OOP against a guy like this. I wouldnt be playing hardly any hands OOP against him.

The weird thing is that after he told me who it was, Ive played him before and didnt find him to be this tricky / aggressive. I actually didnt remember much about him at all which means that I probably l found him to play fairly standard. I didnt have any notes on him which is normally what that means.

I think alot of it has to do with Kenny also being so aggressive that the guy plays back at him alot.
