Im right now at 8PTBB over 15k hands mostly 6-9 tabling FR 25$ NL and i really wanna move up
my flop% is about 22% so its not nut peddling but its playing it quite safe(im 22/8-10 actually)
anyhow, ive got a few questions about a few two pairs(personally i am not fond of them, i make a bit more than a bb/two pair(as final hand on showdown) but i really hate them since they have mostly only 4 outs to improve)..anyhow ive got a question how can i protect them?, that is how to take pot down soon, possibly at flop but i want to avoid over betting the pot..

To be honest check raise was stupid on the drawing board, but i was simply counting that button would bet here (eventhought it was unraised pot...so yes it was a mistake, leading here is much better..)
Now for some reason turn came as a scare card, dont know why, 25, 57s were quite unlikely, so i guess the mistake was to bet only half of the pot...
finally, the question is how should i protect this hand on flop(i wanna play it fast, expecially this small two pair)..unfortuantly even thought i be t2x the pot, CO called down to river with 89 giving the flush chaser good odds..should i have pushed the turn?

on flop that 25c bet felt fishy, i was agressive on table and i guess he was counting that i would bump it back at least pot size at him..well i chose not to just to see his reaction..basically from my point of view he played it poorly and got rewared..he let me draw on a flush/str8 board..but the question is should i have slowed down and just called him down? since KQ could had easly beat me..
To be honest i thought he had AJ, and on turn he chose to chose to play it like he holds a ace and trap Ax like me...was the blocking bet on river ok? I had a good hand and i knew that if i get raised i can fold but i was afraid of getting AI if i check the river since he had double stack like me and my hand was not that strong...any way to play this one diferently? maybe bet the flop harder?
and lastly, is it normal to have one pair as a final hand losing? In average im losing a bb on pair as a final hand so im asking is this normal or can it be cut down to like positive 0 or something(it is eating away some of my profit)
