hand 1: Villain is running about 19/6/2.5. he's only folding to contination bets about 60% of the time, so i figure he's the type who likes to float flops fairly often.

I'm dealt [Qh] UTG + 1and open to 16. he calls in LP.
$32. flop comes [Qs][4s]. i bet $24. he calls.
$86. turns the . i bet $36, he makes it $95. i call.
$276. rivers the . he has $265 left. I check.

what does he have? am i better of checking to induce a bet/bluff, or am i better off putting in $100 and praying for a call.

hand 2: - can we say "stelvask is a calling station?". who thinks I should have reraised him preflop? who thinks i should have lead the flop? who thinks I should have check raised the flop? who thinks I should have folded the river (or who thinks that given how passively i played this folding the river wasn't possible?).

Villain is running at 12/2/2 over about 400 hands.

He opens to $12 UTG+1. I call out of the BB with [Qc].

$24. flop comes [9s][3d]. i check, he bets $16, i call.
$58 pot. turns the . i check, he bets $40, i call.
$138 pot. rivers the . i check, he bets $72. I call.

hand 3: dealt [Kc] in the CO. this is my second hand at the table and i don't know UTG+1, who opens to $12. i reraise to $32, he calls and we're HU.
$70 pot. comes [Td][Th]. he checks, i bet $40, he makes it $104. i fold.


hand 4: button is running about 22/12/2.5ish over 500 hands. CO open limps, button makes it $16, i call out of the SB with 33. CO folds. we're HU.
$40. flop comes [7h][4d]. i bet $24, he makes it $72. i debate quickly between reraising and calling, and opt to just call.
$184 pot. turns the . I bet $148, he shoves, i call.

Try some 6max? I am just shocked when I see 12/2/2 after 400 hands. SH and you can run over him.
And I play SH, so my advice could be a bit off for FR.

Hand1. I like your line, but I would probably bet bigger on turn, still a biit weakish, like 55.
River I would mostly check/raise, with occasional 'block' bet of about 90. (It's more of astyle thing, though. I like making block bets and I need to throw in good hands not to be too exploitable.)
His range: bluffs, flushes, full houses. I think that bluffs make a big part of his range.

I would consider a turn 3bet too, especially against a regular.

Hand2. Fold turn? Or even flop? Com'on 12/2 opens UTG, even in 5max it is {JJ+, AK}. In FR it is probably {AA, KK, AKs}

Hand3. I would check flop, classical WA/WB. I like your fold.
Edit: having thought about it, I am not sure about the fold. SH it's much closer and normally I would try to get to SD, where I could see some KQ, KJ hands; In FR it looks like a fold, but I don't have much experience.

Hand4. I like 3bet flop (shove?), on such a draw heavy board QQ+ will call you very-very often, and it's good for the image against a regular. 3bet>>>>>>call.

I doubt that I would lead turn as played, tough spot.
As played gotta call, but I have a bad feeling about this, looks like KK or hearts. I mean your line is so strong and he shoves.

Hand 1) I don't like the river check. I'm sure you're going for the CR, but Villain is most likely on the flush and he seems decent which means he's checking behind on the paired board more frequently than I like. I lead like 1/2 pot. A boat might even raise you.

Hand 2) I'm raising the flop almost every time. It might be a style thing but when I flat call them down, they flip over JJ or KK there. When Ice calls them down, they have AJ (LOL). I just like raising the flop. Hands you beat probably call but shut down. Hands you lose to either raise or go nutso later. Easy to play.

Hand 3) Excellent fold. He's probably not doing that with QQ/JJ. I'd prefer a flop check though. Say he has QQ/JJ and the turn/river blank off. You can probably still extract some value or flat call him down if he's gettng frisky. If he has AA/KK, you just gained pot control on the flop.

Hand 4) If he has KK, that's life. I probably jam the flop though. I lean more towards not wanting a heart to kill my action.

#1) I probably check the rover to him 75% of the time and open shove the other 25%

#2) Fold the flop? Are you telling me youre calling a raise with QQ for set value only? Jesus Christ...I thought I was weak tight. You guys who are saying fold the flop would never say that if you hadnt seen the villian bet the turn and river. If he posts the hand and stops at the CB on the flop, youre responses would be different, guaranteed. Why cant he have TT or AK after the flop bet?

#3) Check behind on flop looks easy after seeing the check raise, but I was thinking check behind before seeing the flop action. Its the only way to get any money out of QQ / JJ.
