What are people's thoughts on semi-bluffing a calling station? From my understanding, for a semi-bluff to work it needs to have some sort of decent fold equity. In this situation villain is 40/11/0.57. Do we fire this turn and try to fold out another draw or a 9? What if villain is unknown? A regular?

With his AF being that low your chances of being check-raised on the turn is pretty slim. I'd much rather bet the turn and take a free showdown if you miss. You might even have the best hand if he's calling with a draw.

Yeah, I'd bet this turn, too--and then fire near full pot on any river except a spade (which he's probably betting anyway) or a Q or J.

You need to bet here, hell if he folds fine if he calls maybe better, since you need to build the pot anyway to get it in on the river. Don't bluff the river if you miss though, that is really bad advice against a station.
