1 fold, UTG+1 (poster) checks, 2 folds, CO calls $0.50, 1 fold, Hero (poster) completes, BB checks.
Flop: ($2) 9, Q, Q (4 players)
Hero bets $2, BB folds, UTG+1 folds, CO calls $2.
I think a check raise would have been affective here, but the board was so dangerous I decided to lead out. Was this move correct?
Turn: ($6) 7 (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets $5, Hero calls $5.
This situation in general is always awkward for me. Since CO just called the flop raise he could easily have a flush draw. I am never sure whether to raise when out of position in this situation or just check. Checking seems to really indicate weakness but there is a high probability that the opponent has made a flush.
I called hoping to make a boat on the river or maybe get to a cheap showdown if the river was not another heart.
River: ($16) 5 (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets $15, Hero folds.
Final Pot: $31
Thanks for the help.
