MP2 plays 80% of his hands and will never raise. He loves to call. I have been making pot sized bets all session and he has been calling them all. On an earlier hand I held KK and before the flop UTG raised 3x's, I was next to raise and raised 10x's knowing MP2 would call it and he did. I then bet the pot on the flop an he called. I bet half on the turn and he folded. He asked what I had and I told him 44. He said "You bluffed me off my JJ".
With all that in mind I played this hand.
Flop: ($0.08) , , (4 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets $0.08, MP2 calls $0.08, SB folds, BB folds.
Turn: ($0.24) (2 players)
Hero bets $0.2, MP2 calls $0.20.
River: ($0.64) (2 players)
Hero bets $5.04 (All-In), MP2 folds.
Since I bet the turn I thought he wouldn't put me on a flush draw. Did I waste an opportunity on this one? I think this bet may get called often enough to show a profit.
This has happened a few times this month so its something Im thinking about. Looking for ways to improve my play. Thanks for the help. *edit* Forgot to ask, anyone raise first in with this one??
Final Pot: $5.68
