Thoughts on this hand? I feel quite good about it overall, but no doubt there is room for improvement.

Reads: MP is a passive calling station and the main reason I didn't raise preflop out of position.

I like it

I kept my bets smallish because well, I only have top pair and if I was beat, he was unlikely to raise over the top of me anyhow.

I was thinking on the river "I bet he has AQ", and he did.

Ummm...TP 2nd kicker = $$$$

Usually from the turn onwards I treat top pair as a hand I want to see a cheap showdown with, unless I have a specific read on my opponent. I literally had no idea what he had, draw, AQ, set, Ax and thus I slowed down.

Is this a bad move?
