This is a thing I have been wondering about in my little world of ignorance.
Why do I need to push or fold, if there is no FE out there? If there is no FE on flop, there should be none on the turn either?
Why do I need to commit all my chips, when I actually have the opportunity to wait and gain more info (i.e. what the turn card would be) before I do it?
In this example, if you only would call, and see the turn for another 114, the pot will be 380 approx and you would have 226 behind.
If the board paired on the turn, would you not just check/fold and save 226?
If a blank hits, you would again check/fold since you do not have odds if he would push.
But the odds of you hitting your draw with two cards to come of 42%, has actually changed and is only 30% with just one card to come, which is slighty worse than calling an allin, so it would be correct to fold.
If you hit your flush or straight do you think he would get away from whatever he had, or would you actually be able to get his full stack out of him?
So can somebody explain why I should stick all my chips in there (disregarding image) on the flop, if I could wait and be sure to do it on the turn when I actually know what the turn card was?
