3/6nl - top two on a straightening board vs. min raiser

I'm dealt [6d] in MP. Folds to me and i raise to $18. CO calls. he has $438. I cover obv. I've never played with him before.

$45 flop, HU, comes [6h][4d]. i bet $30 and he min raises to $60. he has $360 behind and i push.

Is 3xBB standard raise on 600NL?

I don't see how you can get worse hands to call you. Maybe overpairs which would mean 28/72. Or pair/straight/backdoorflush draws, meh.

A 8, T 3 etc on the turn would make/break your action more than you would like but...

What a tough spot.. all the hands you just posted are very interesting and it is annoying to me i can't come up with a proper answer.

To answer your first question, I almost always do 4x, except when i'm in the CO. At which point i vary between 4x and 3x.

I can't tell you why i went to 3x here. This hand was from last week and it's possible that I misclicked, or just wanted to mix it up a bit

I'd say 90% of my opening raises are to 4x though.

I think there's enough money that could go in on the turn but often can't go in on the flop that it's worth slowplaying here and either leading or checkraising the turn.

i'm shocked that he called w/ TT. normally i don't expect to see a call here unless you are beat or he slowplayed KK or AA.

i don't think pushing is the optimal play in this scenario, though the results of the hand speak differently.
