I have no read. Based on his stack size he probably isn't very good, but that can mean a lot of different things. Based on the fact that I didn't raise this pre flop (which I normally do) I am guessing that I had been really playing fast at the time, and felt like my level of respect was starting to get low. However, I don't really remember, I just remember saying to myself (Not sure about this turn, let's post it on BTP later).

i think your problem was the flop call. way too loose.

hmm.... I would be surprised to see anything other than diamonds with the weak betting going on, time to win or lose some money, because you are ahead here a lot more than behind. you would have to have some sort of read to assume you are beat, such as weak bets monsters on scary boards or the like to consider folding.

i also think you're behind on the turn. i think his hand got there.. and he's protecting against the other draws.
