KJo on the button. I have a full stack, everyone has me covered. Two limpers to me, I limp, SB folds and BB checks.

Flop comes T97 rainbow making me double gutted. BB minibets 2 and gets two callers, I call. Turn is a K completing the rainbow. BB bets 12 and gets one caller, I call. River is another K, BB bets 12 again and the remaining player raises to 24. I fold.

AKs in EP and I open limp. One more limper then LP raises to 10, SB calls and I call. Flop comes 7KJ with two diamonds. SB minibets 2, I raise to 40. Preflop raiser folds and SB calls. Turn is an off suit 4, SB minibets 2 and I raise to 60, he calls. River is the , he minibets 2 and I call.

#1 - Gotta lay it down - one of em' definitely has Q-J.

#2 - I woulda just pushed it on the turn (not knowing stack sizes). There is 110 dead in the pot, don't bet 60 and give him odds he doesn't deserve (though it'll still be a bad call that he'll justify with a speech about the EV of sucking out and getting paid off which he won't because you know he is on the flush draw - I just don't think he's got 7-7).

As played, just call the river, the only hand he could call a raise with that you aren't beating is K-Q, which he'd have to be a donk to be playing in the first place (though judging from his min-bets, this could be an actual possibility...)

I thought they were good hands to show how to make money against these guys (although I of course didn't actually win any of the pots)

In #1 it's fairly obvious that someone has me beaten but a lot of people will call here with trips just because... well, it's trips. Even though it is just a small bet and a miniraise, it's wasted money, and the original bettor could come over the top. Of course the raiser had QJ (well he could have had a boat).

In #2 I was fairly sure he had the flushdraw when he minibet/called. I make a big raise on the flop to destroy his odds (his A or x is obviously not an out against me), on the turn he's only 20% to improve so the raise doesn't have to be as big, since I am not paying him off on the river. Well, unless he minibets that is. Of course he had .
