Well I've been making lots of comments about other people's play, so here's a hand for some (constructive) criticism!
Stars $200NL. I'm in MP with
[Kc] and $257. UTG (monkey $60 stack) and UTG+1 (solid) limp. I raise to $9. I've not got out of line much in my 200 hands at this table, so I'm a bit surprised when I get 2 callers behind me ($156 and $595 stacks), and the blinds (both $100) and limpers all call.
So 7 to a flop of
[5c][3h], with $63 in the pot already.
I have a monster draw of a gutshot, two overcards, and the nut flush draw. I also don't know what my plan should be - ie how aggressive I can be with just a draw into such a big field.
UTG ($51) leads for a pathetic $6, UTG+1 folds. I decide just to call, and see what the bigger stacks behind me do. I'm pretty dubious about this decision - what do other people recommend?
I think it gets a bit more straightforward after this: one limper ($156) calls, LP folds, SB calls, and then BB ($86) check raises to an equally pathetic $18. UTG folds. It's $12 to me, with $105 in the pot.
I raise to $100, limper folds, and BB calls all in.
Any thoughts on either flop decision (but particularly the first one)?
