1st a background hand.

EP raises to $12. I call with AKs. SB reraises to $32. EP calls and I fold. Maybe I shouldve called that, but I put him on AA / KK. He did have AA and he doubled up against a str8 flush draw from EPs T9s.


About 4 rounds later. Same EP raises to $12. I call with AK. Same guy who had AA is on the button and reraises to $44. EP folds. Who likes a push all in here? I have $300 and he has me covered.

Remember, he reraised to only $32 OOP with AA. Now hes in position and makes it $44. Looks like JJ to me. Thoughts?

You have to be reasonably certain he will fold. I find that 95% of the players at my level will not fold big pairs after re-raising.

Also, as you stated, I'm not a fan of the 3rd raise w AK.

Jav, in your hand you got limp reraised. There s a much bigger chance he has AA / KK in that case.

I got limp reraised today and I pushed with QQ. I thought the guy was in the BB and didnt realize it was a limp reraise unitl the hand was over. He had AA, but I rivered a Q.


Kenny, youre probably right and I do reraise it about 1/3 of the time, but it seems that I get called most times and then I get into trouble. Alot of those times Im OOP though.
