As the topic suggests^^ i'm after some advice for my pre flop - full ring play. I'm reasonably happy with my poker tracker stats. However from 18,000 hands i've only got a PFR of 4.85% -_- where for full ring the optimum range should be 7%+. I'm a winning player with vPip of 13%(probably need to up this) and with TAF at 3.5 with my BB at 1/2c - 5/10c being around 15/100. I've just been experimenting with 6 tables at 1c and 2c atm.
Currently, i can't see a massive value in raising at full ring with hands other than AA-99 ,AK/ AQ and reraising with AA-QQ. In MP to LP i'll raise with a range of hands with no limpers. However, if i'm in MP and LP and have one or two limpers should i be raising with AJ, KQ, KJ? to try and isolate an early limper with position? I often find at micro stakes you have two players calling your raises with hands like AJ, KQ, KJ u aren't in fantastic shape with callers. However, perhaps i need to learn to play weaker picture cards and exploit them for some extra EV and improve my game post flop. It might go the other way, at first -_-
Should i loosen up wtih AJ especially as its rougly at 70% chance of being the best hand at the table. I'm having serious problems with AJ-T and KQ-KJ and haven't got a clue what to do with these hands. Especially with one or two limpers or even in 4th or 5th position. Actually i'm just looking at KQ and AJ on PT and i fold more often than i thought i.e 2 limpers and i'm in LP and i don't know what the right move is..so i lay them down. This is one major leak. Therefore, im just after some ABC strategy on position and how to play them with early limpers etc. Obviously no limpers i should be raising from MP onwards. If a player limps ..i'm like errr do i call, do i raise? lol
I think i've answered my own question. If two loose players r flat calling early..i should pump up it up for value and show some courage. AJ or KQ willl probably be in good shape verus their two random cards. Any advice and tips on these weaker picture cards? thanks even 66-99?
