Prima 200NL. I have a full stack and so does villain. Villain is a quite the nutso jerk (75/15/5). He's all over the map, minraising preflop, check raising every third hand, and talking all kinds of smack. He made my favorite fish leave so I'm not happy with him.

Villain limps in the CO. I raise to x4BB in BB with A[h] Q[h]. All folds and villain calls.

Flop ($18) A[s] 6[s] 2[d]. I lead for $16, he raises (per usual) to $45. I call.

Turn ($108) T[h]. I open push.

Thoughts....

If he's so super aggro, why not CR allin on the turn??? I mean, he sounds crazy like he's pushin people around, but is he crazy like calling a turn allin without an Ace there at least???

2 things...

1 - he probably folded, which is good and though I dont play SH, I assume youre happy winning that sort of pot with AQ.

2 - that said, I hate the move here bud. You're making marginal hands fold (when you could've soaked him for 2 more vbs), and you're only getting called when you're beat (AK, 2 pr and above).

I really can't see a good reason to make this play, except just showing up an arsehole, which while satisfying and certainly rewarding when youre a freak like me, isn't necessarily +EV.

He's looking at either 3 outs for 2 pr, or 9 for the FD. EIther way, he has 1 card to come,l I think a nice PSB or 3/4 PSB would be better.

See... I DEFINITELY think the best way to show up the douche is to CR him like he's been CRing everyone else at will... And, it ;may piss him off enough to call...

Trod... I don't play 6max, but I DO play the 100s and 200s like you, and I see people calling CRes WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY more than they should... Im not sure if they get confused by it... or they think I'm bluffing... or what... But, you'll see it called a lot more than you'd think...

I would either reraise to 100 on the flop, or chk-raise allin on the turn. I have to admit pushing into him is a nice way to "sticky it to him", but I don't think it gets the most money from him in the long run. Nice way to play you opponent though.
