Both hands are at $200 NL at FTP

#1) UTG raises $7. I call on the button with [Kd]. BB also calls. We all have full stacks.

Pot $23. Flop [4d][3d]. They check to me and I bet $16. BB now check raises to $71. Whats your play?

#2) Different table , different villain. UTG raises $7, I reraise to $21 UTG +1 with [Kd]. He calls.

Pot $45 Flop [9h][6c]. He checks, I bet $34. He check raises to $147. He has $32 left. My play?

#1 - Fold
#2 - Push

That said, with the way I play poker, I probably got this exactly backwards.

Hand 1 all-in.
Hand 2 all-in.

hand 1: shove
hand 2: shove


christ...i agree with Xaston and Shobute.....

but really. most players don't make big flop CR's with monsters. i expect to be WAY ahead in hand 1 and in hand 2 i think UTG's range is AA/KK/QQ/JJ or some kind of pair+draw.

Agree...1 could be a FD a lot or some good Jack...2 could be JJ/QQ and all sorts of crap you beat.

I shoved all in on both hands.

#1) He called my all in and had [7d]. he missed
#2) He called with T9 and I missed. I never saw that one coming. I really thought it was QQ

So I broke even (actually I won $3)

I was 57.7% fav on hand #1 and 27% dog on hand #2. If I fold both hands to the raise, I lose a total of $78. My total EV in the hands (from the point I got raised and had to decide) was....+$12 so pushing in both hands was more correct than folding both.

The funny thing is that I was much more confident in hand #2.
