2 big hands. See if you can put me on a hand please.

#1) Villain limps UTG. 1 more limper and I raise to $30. Only UTG calls. This is a new day and all new players. Nobody knows me. Ive played one hand in 3 orbits. Villain is a pro 5/10 player. Hes been here for a while apparently because he has about $2500. There is no 5/10 game going right now. I think hes very good and hes not afraid to gamble.

Pot $70. Flop [As][5d]. He checks, I bet $35 and he calls.
Pot $140. Turn . He checks, I bet $100. He thinks and calls.
Pot $340. River . He sits there for about 20 seconds thinking. I say "did you check". He says "no", but then does check. I shove all in. Its about $325 to him. Any idea what I have? Or what a pro will call with?

#2) Different table. 2 guys from one of my LAG session are here and the rest of the guy look like newbies.

2 limpers and I limp in. The BB raises to $35. Everyone including me call.

Pot $165. Flop [9s][4d]. Checked to me last to act and I bet $100. The BB calls and we're heads up.

Pot $365. Turn . He checks, I bet $300. This is a very big turn bet in this game. I think its the biggest Ive seen in 3 days. He calls.

Pot $965. River . He checks. I have $190 left and he covers. I shove. Any idea what either of us has?

QT of diamond seems pretty likely in the second hand. First hand, I call with full house or better. You could and probably should be shoving a lot for value and bluff here.

In hand #1, you call with full house or better? LOL. You mean a full house or quads and thats it?

You dont call with an ace? What about something like TT?

The reason I asked this is because I watched this other hand that went like this.

Guy who says he a pro straddles. he looks like a big time LAG. Couploe limpers and he jacks it to $50. One caller.

Flop J65. Pro bet $100. Caller shoves all in for $350. Pro insta calls with 99. Caller had 77. Now thats a hell of a call and I told him that. He said "Im a pro sir, its what I do.". If he calls that against me, hes gonna lose almost every time but I guess hes thinking that if the guy had TT or better he wouldve raised preflop and if he had AJ, he wouldnt push? Sucks for the pro that the board went ...turn 4..river 3

So would a thinking 5/10 pro try to call in my hand and snap off a bluff if he had a pocket pair like 99 or TT?

I dunno what a pro would do on hand 1, but I still would have to have a read on you to call with anything less than an A. I will say that your betting sequence can be interpreted as kind of weak--probish flop bet, then big bets on turn and river that are more asking for a laydown. Then again, some players play very strong hands like that. Anyhow, I personally would've just let it go with TT on the flop. But I can see someone calling down with a hand like that if they have a good read on you.

I had J9s in both hands.

#1) After I shoved all in, I started spinning a chip over and over. I did this because there is a tell that works like this. When a guy makes a big bet and is doing something like tapping his fingers or whistling...and then he stops doing it when you grab you chips to call, he is normally bluffing. I dont know if villian knows this or not, but I purposley started spinning the chip just in case. Villian grabbed 3 stacks and pushed them towards the betting line but not over it. I purposley continued spinning the chip and had no reaction. If he knew about this tell, I was giving him a reverse tell. He quickly mucked TT face up. I had [9d].


#2) I had [9c] and stacked villians AA.
