$100NL 6-max @ FT

relatively tight/unimaginative player opens to $5 UTG. UTG+1 just posted his blind but folds i call in CO w/ 22. $100 effective stacks.

pot: $12

he bets $10, i wait a few seconds and call.

turn:
pot: $32

he bets $26. i wait a few seconds and shove. its $60-ish for him to call and the pot is $140 or so after i shove.

i dont think he raises preflop with any hand with a 9 in it. so how frequently do you think he folds overpairs here getting over 2:1? ever?

Me no likey. FPS. Tight/unimaginative player has a big pair here. Trying to make typical folks fold big pairs = -EV. I want a read that he's weak-tight postflop.

With this draw heavy board a thinking player would call you quite often putting you on a draw. It also seems to me that if you play all your PP this way your bluffing frquency will be too high.

All-in-all I think it is -EV bluffing spot.

P.S. If you posted this hand from your opponent point of view (assu;ing he had TT) you would get a better feedback.

Most people dont push when they have a 9 and turn a second 9

People assume you are on a flush draw when you call the flop bet and theres a flush draw available.

I dont like it.

I'd call you with an overpair. It's like Ice said:

You don't go around bluffing at people you think have an overpair.

You can run off AK Hearts. He doesn't have a nine.
