I'm UTG+1 with [9c] ($22.70)
UTG folds. I limp. Two folds. SB ($44.20) limps. BB ($26.25) mini-raises to $0.50. We both call. Pot: $1.50
Flop: [Ts][9s]
SB checks. BB bets $0.25. I raise to $1.50. SB calls. BB calls. Pot: $6.00
Turn: [Ts][9s][2c]
SB checks. BB bets $1.80. I raise to $4.50. SB folds. BB reraises (?) to $7.20. I call. Pot: $20.40
River: [Ts][9s][2c][5s]
BB bets $5. I call.
As for reads, BB hadn't played many hands and I hadn't seen him raise any before this hand, so I figured he had to have a fairly big hand, even with his small PF raise. I really had no idea if he'd be aggressive in this situation (the reraise on the turn especially, which kind of threw me a curve on this hand) with AK or need something bigger. I only had $8.50 more after the river call of his $5, so representing the flush at that point would've, I think, been pointless if I was indeed beat. So I was just happy to call the relatively small river bet at that point.
Does anything stick out that I maybe should've done differently? Should I have even been in this pot preflop? I'm still learning 6-max, so I'm still a little fuzzy on what hands I should or should not be playing. What about the reraise on the turn? Without a read should I maybe assume I'm beat here and fold in an attempt to cut my losses? At the time it was my opinion that if this was a typical $25 player, he could've easily been trying to milk AK or AQ, but in retrospect probably only a very bad player would've done that with the flop being two suited (why do these thoughts never come to me at the table?!).
