Effective stacks $700, villain is in BB and seems like a decent TAG.

*EDITED see correct history below*
*This is from memory lol *
I am dealt [Ah][Qh] on button, make it $30, only BB calls.

Flop comes:
[Ad][Qd][Js]

check, I CB $50 he calls.

Turn 9 offsuit (no flush)

he checks to me, I bet $200, he CRAI (420 for me to call), I tell myself that he should have AJ or QJ more often than KT and call ?

Ya, I find it way too hard to fold here. If he has KT or a set, cooler.

You bet $200 @ a $163 pot... this overbet may have been perceived as weakness/trying to buy the pot by villain.

Just curious... why did you overbet the pot on turn? $125-$150 would have been a good bet to bet/fold to if he pushes, if you felt you were beat, but not with the overbet, you are getting good odds to call, not to mention villain could have a naked flush draw with or without a str8 draw as well.

Tough hand... but I'd probably fold if I had bet $125, and I think I gotta call if I had bet $200.

Hmmm...now I'm fairly confident he doesn't have you beat. Most players who have the straight or a set will 3bet the flop because it's so UBER drawy. However, some players may take his line by waiting for a safe turn then pulling the CRAI... I still can't fold though.

I think you're behind here <2% of the time.
Poker is silly.

It is not enough to be good at chess, you must also play well.

Somewhere in the world someone is training when you are not. When you race him, he will win.

When I play a patient and relaxed game I win - that simple.

Agree with TripleB, I think I'm behind here more often than 2%. But I really thought he would flip some flush/str8 combo draw. He had [Kd][Td] (why do people play that OOP PF?) and probably did a dance of victory flopping the nuts with a nutflush draw.

Is there anyone even contemplating checking turn here ? What if there was no flush draw on board ?

Why do people play KTs OOP?

Well...it comes down to Mike Caro's law of loose wiring (I think that's what he calls it). People know they shouldn't but sometimes they do anyway. Like me...the other day I called a raise with QTs in the BB. I flopped the flush and got it in on the flop against KK with the flush draw. Of course I lost.
